The Coach House cottage is a detached Georgian building adjacent to the Old Rectory, surrounded by extensive gardens and ten acres of woodland. It is available all year to rent for self-catering holidays. There is a swimming pool (36' x 18', heated whenever ambient temperature allows), and a barn which can be used as a games room (for table tennis, etc).

SITUATION We are situated in a very peaceful corner of North West Devon, amidst glorious unspoiled countryside, but only 2 miles from Holsworthy, a thriving market town. Launceston, gateway to Cornwall is only 12 miles away, while Bude and other beaches for swimming and surfing, are only a 20 minute drive.

THINGS TO DO The area has numerous places to visit, including Dartmoor, historic towns, National Trust properties, arts and crafts galleries. You can play golf, go walking, riding, fishing, sailing, canoeing or windsurfing. The Coach House is half a mile from the village of Pyworthy with its pub and restaurant The Molesworth Arms. However, many people simply enjoy unwinding at the Old Rectory, swimming in the pool or relaxing in our 10 acre grounds.

ACCOMMODATION Very spacious, with modest but comfortable furnishings, and ideal for large parties seeking a relaxing country base. Full oil-fired central heating with radiators throughout. There are five bedrooms: 1 double, 1 double or twin, 1 twin, 1 with four singles, and an extra double leading off from this. A large modern bathroom and wc, and another separate wc with washbasin. A very large dining room with pine table, settee and open fire. A spacious living room with colour TV and video (use of video library). French doors leading to gardens and pool. Fitted kitchen with double sink unit, electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and oil-fired Aga cooker, water heater with separate immersion heater. Ample parking.

PRICES PER WEEK vary according to the season and number of guests.

For more than 10 visitors there is an additional £20 charge per person per week. Electricity is metered using prepaid cards available from us. Fuel for the Aga and woodburner at cost price. Linen can be provided optionally for a charge of £8 per person per week. Sorry no pets.

BOOKING 33% deposit is required on booking, the remainder to be paid at least 45 days before your holiday. A refundable security deposit of £100 to be paid for on arrival to cover breakages.
