Lympscott Farm is a 240 acre dairy farm adjoining the Upper Tamar Lake which offers water sports and coarse fishing and is accessible via our farm walk. The farm is set down a half mile of private road with ample parking, overlooking its own 1 acre lawn, which is a safe area to play and includes a fun 9 hole putting course, patio and picnic table.

SITUATION Lympscott Farm is peacefully situated half way between the villages of Bradworthy and Kilkhampton on the Devon Cornwall border. The magnificent north Cornish coast with its superb coastal path, magnificent sandy beaches and excellent surf is only four miles away and the resort of Bude is seven miles away. The traditional market town of Holsworthy, with its Wednesday cattle and street markets, is eight miles away. The village of Bradworthy, just over two miles away, is fully self-contained with a post office, grocers, doctors, pub and fish and chip shop.

THINGS TO DO In addition to the nearby beaches, coast paths, fishing and watersports on Tamar Lake the area offers a wide variety of things to do. We are an ideal centre for exploring the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor and the many local attractions within a twelve mile radius. These include Clovelly, the Tarka Trail, the Big Sheep, Killarney Springs adventure park, the Milky Way, Splash Leisure Pool at Bude and many others.
Golf courses around here are very good including the Bude and North Cornwall, Royal North Devon, Holsworthy, Torrington and many more. Horse riding is available in the village.
If you enjoy rambling a short stroll across our fields to a private farm trail will bring you to the banks of the Tamar Lakes which offers excellent trout and coarse fishing, (special rates can be arranged for this) also it is a haven for birdwatchers and great fun for the watersports it offers - canoeing, windsurfing and sailing.

ACCOMMODATION
The Farmhouse Sleeps up to 13. This accommodation is part of a large 18th century farmhouse, spacious and recently refurbished to a high standard throughout. Kitchen/diner with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble drier. Lounge with colour TV, video and French windows that lead onto the paved BBQ area and lawn. The lounge also features a double-sided wood burner which backs onto the wooden floored sun lounge overlooking the lawn. This room also contains a double futon bed. The downstairs bedroom has twin beds and ensuite shower with WC all with level access from the outside. Upstairs the bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC. The family room is ensuite with a four poster bed and two single beds and a colour TV. The next bedroom is a smaller twin bedded room and the final bedroom has a double and a single bed with a wash basin. All bedding and a towel per person included.
Beehive Cottage Sleeps up to 6 + cot. A very comfortable farm cottage comprising a fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and automatic washing machine. The lounge/dining room is comfortable with an electric 'wood-burner' in an open stone fireplace and a colour TV and video. Leading off from the lounge is a conservatory through which is the small lawn and barbecue patio. The bedroom downstairs has a double bed with a shower room and WC adjacent, all with level access. Upstairs there is a bathroom and WC, one bedroom has a double bed, the other is a twin bedded room. All bed linen is provided. Electricity is included in the price and central hearing is available. A cot and a highchair are provided free for families with small children.

PRICES PER WEEK include bed linen and electricity and a cot and highchair when requested.
