This beautiful 230 acre estate is situated in the very heart of Devon amid peace and tranquility with views to Dartmoor, cattle and sheep grazing and a river running through. The accommodation is a new Barn Conversion built and equipped to a very high standard with full central heating and all linens and bedding provided.

An all weather Tennis Court and Fishing Lake are available. There is a village close by with dining and essential services.

SITUATION Close to the Devon / Cornwall border near the village of Halwill, between the market towns of Holsworthy and Hatherleigh but only half an hour from Bude and the Cornish Coast and half an hour from Dartmoor. Easy driving distance from Launceston (30 minutes) and Okehampton (30 minutes), gateway to Dartmoor. Situated between Okehampton and Holsworthy, just off the A3079 (Bude Road).

Tea, Coffee, Milk and Biscuits provided on arrival plus a TV guide and lots of local information about "Things to do and places to go".
A meal can be provided on arrival (cost of £6.25 per head for 2 courses), menu on application.

THINGS TO DO Within half hours drive of Bude's surf and sandy beaches. Nearby Roadford lake offers sailing, fishing, watersports and paved lakeside walks, with lots of water fowl to watch, whilst Okehampton, Buckland Abbey (NT), the beauties of Dartmoor and two golf courses are just a short drive. Shop and pub 1 mile. Horse riding and bike hire available locally. There are a wealth of places to visit from Cheltenham Barn, Country walks and the cycle track. The Eden Project is less than an hour away. Other attractions are Lydford Gorge, Morwellham Quay, Two Bridges, Widecombe in the Moor, Castle Drogo and Chagford Village, Buckland Abbey - plus the beaches and coves of both Devon and Cornwall . Exeter and Plymouth have a wide selection of restaurants, theatre, cinema, historic buildings and many places of interest. There are also walks throughout 230 acres of the estate.
