Situation Chez Moi Enfin is in a glorious setting overlooking the River Torridge and surrounded by beautiful countryside as far as the eye can see with Dartmoor to the South and Exmoor to the North. A warm welcome awaits with a complementary homemade Devonshire clotted cream tea on arrival, which weather depending may be enjoyed on the patio of our secluded garden, enjoying spectacular views.

We are surrounded by lovely country walks from the doorstep. Why not walk down to the River Torridge in the valley below, where you may be lucky enough to spot a kingfisher, deer or fox! We are centrally situated for touring Devon and Cornwall. 5 miles RHS Rosemoor and Dartington Glass. 10 miles to the coast. Nearby is Clovelly, Instow, Appledore and Bude. A bit further a field you can enjoy Exmoor and Dartmoor.

On winter evenings, with the countryside at its most dramatic, a roaring log fire in our spacious lounge will greet you on your return, where you can relax and enjoy a steaming cup of hot chocolate.

Or simply sit back and take in the wondrous views from the comfort of a cosy armchair and enjoy a morning coffee and biscuits with your favourite book.

To Do As well as delightful walks, the surrounding countryside provides the perfect venue for cycling, golf, horse riding, fishing and many other country pursuits (ask for more details). Alternatively, you can visit one of the many attractions within a short drive of the Chez Moi Enfin, including Rosemoor Gardens and the incredible Eden Project, Great Torrington 5 miles, Coast 12 miles, Dartmoor & Exmoor 40 mins, Golf 3 miles, Fishing 1 mile, RHS Rosemoor 4 miles, Dartington Glass 5 miles, Eden Project 1½ hours. Riding. Walking.

Why not take a picnic and spend the day on the beach swimming, surfing or just sunbathing at Bude, Westward Ho! or Saunton Sands or one of many other beaches along the North Devon and Cornwall coast?

The village of Beaford is just ½ mile away where The Globe Inn, a 300 year old coaching Inn serves delicious food, real ales and good wines.

We are easy to find : Beaford village itself sits right upon the A3124, if you are approaching from the Exeter or Torrington side take the only turning in the village, by the school, signposted Beaford House, continue for approx ¾ mile following signs to Beaford House. As you drive into the Beaford House drive, over the cattle grid you will see Chez Moi Enfin, on your left.

Accommodation Charming and warm, our house is the ideal place for you to stay. Our large, ensuite rooms are individually and classically decorated. All with TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and those other special little touches!!
